Congratulations to Shuna K. Hayward on Receiving the Ecosystem Activator Award

Connect Detroit congratulates Shuna K. Hayward, Interim President & CEO of Connect Detroit, on receiving the Ecosystem Activator Award at the Youth Development Resource Center (YDRC) Summit on May 7.

This award recognizes an individual or organization whose work has created sustainable, systemic impact by fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth across sectors and communities.

Shuna’s leadership reflects that spirit. Through her work, she continues to help strengthen Detroit’s youth development ecosystem, build meaningful partnerships, and support lasting impact across the community.

We are especially honored that Connect Detroit’s own Nicole Hill had the honor of presenting this award to Shuna during the summit. It was a meaningful moment of recognition for leadership, dedication, and service that continues to move Detroit forward.

Congratulations, Shuna, on this well-deserved honor!
